We are a church family excited about and committed to serving and worshipping Jesus Christ. Each worship service is devoted to honoring the Lord through song, prayer, praise, testimony and a life-changing message from God's Word. The Holy Spirit has the freedom to move whenever and however He wills.

It is our belief that "People will not care how much we know until they know how much we care" (Charles Swindoll). With the anointing of the Holy Spirit, we at Leesburg First Assembly are striving to address the personal needs of each child, teen and adult, as well as minister to the family as a whole. It's a vital ministry that only the Lord can accomplish as we faithfully commit ourselves to His will and service.

A Word From Pastor Rick Welborne

One thousand by ten! God has spoken to me and to the leadership of our Church that as we pray and seek Him, we can grow to a congregation of 1000 by the end of 2010. Is it really important that we place such an emphasis on numbers? Absolutely, when those numbers represent people who need to be won into the Kingdom of God! Jesus said, "Do you not say, 'There are still four months and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest!" John 4:35 (NKJV). Our aim and vision is to reach those who are either lost and away from God or those who are believers but are not in a local fellowship serving God.

Our world seems to be very vulnerable right now with all that is going on in the economy and with all the changes that are taking place on a daily basis. What does this mean for the Church? This means that we are at a place of great possibilities and great potential because people are not knowing where to turn. Wouldn't it be great if they turned to God because we decided to turn to them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

As individuals and families, we should pray for God to lay upon our hearts another family or individual who does not know the Lord and pursue them with the love of Christ. As we all do this over the next several months, we can easily grow to 1000 by 2010. God bless you as you serve Him with all your hearts!
